The folk-inspired ‘Noelle’ dress features naïve ‘cross stitch’ flower motifs to the sleeves, while hem embroidery references traditional European weaving designs. Crafted in a ‘40s-inspired pistachio linen with contrasting ‘oat’ embroidery. With elasticated shirring at chest, elasticated cuffs, and a gently gathered hemline, ‘Noelle’ has a pretty, relaxed winter mood. Invisible zip closure to back.

At the heart of Apolina’s Autumn collection lies a vintage quilt, a lovingly-crafted handwork—the quintessential symbol of home. Looking at its stitching conjures an image of the woman who made it, sitting and sewing over many evenings, working to bring warmth and comfort to her family and the generations to follow. With this vision in mind we drew inspiration from the ‘40s and ‘50s post-war era: brighter colours, easier silhouettes, mother-made dresses and quilts. Our signature earthy palette layers with pops of ‘50s saccharine pastel tones—brown meets faded coral, retro blue-toned embroidery highlights olive green. Styles reference cinema, from Shirley Temple to Sally Draper, and party dresses juxtapose with pretty and practical casual wear, created for layered styling on colder days at home and adventuring outdoors.
